Tyre Limited Warranty
The tyre limited warranty is provided by the manufacturer for a period of 1 year or 60,000 km whichever comes earlier regarding on their policy against manufacturing defects that will be examined by their authorised agents/representatives, except for china tyres.
Claim procedure for tyre limited warranty:
- Only agent guaranteed tyres and batteries are sold.
- Proper proof of purchase is required at the time of submission of tyre for inspection.
- Tyre will be sent for inspection by the authorised personnel of the manufacturer.
- Total inspection process may require 2-3 weeks time.
- Manufacturer's authorised personnel's report will be final.
- During the claimed tyre's inspection, customer may have to purchase a new tyre.
- If an allowance is approved on claim tyre by the manufacturer agent, that amount will be refunded to the customer.
Tyre limited warranty does not cover the following:
Damage caused by road hazards (not limited to bruises, snags, bulges punctures, cuts, impact brakes, chips, stone drills and scales), theft, fire or collision.
Conditions arising from improper tyre/vehicle maintenance or use not limited to:
- Excessive noise complaints from tyre/wheel assembly.
- Damage caused by abuse sudden braking vandalism, racing, tyre spinning or other competitive activities.
- Excessive or Irregular tread wear due to incorrect inflation; vehicle misalignment; overloading; failure to rotate tyres and poor or defective mechanical condition to brakes, shocks and wheels or other factors attribute to the vehicle or the wheel.
- Any tyre that has run with low inflation pressure or under inflate.
- Tyres submitted for a mileage adjustment that have worn out unevenly and or show a difference or 2 mm between major tread grooves or between the front and rear sets.
- Tyres with removed DOT identification number or rendered illegible, improper application, not limited to:
- Incorrect size and load rating for the vehicle.
- Damage, deterioration or corrosion from using oil-based chemicals, balancing substances, water-based sealers or flammable gases.
Improper mounting, balancing or repair not limited to:
- Damage caused by incorrect mounting or dismounting of the tyre, incorrect wheel size, water or other materials trapped inside the tyre while mounting, or failure to keep the tyres balanced.
- Damage due to improper repair materials or procedures.
- Improper tyre mounting, tyre/wheel assembly imbalance.
- Invoice and Warranty Card is mandatory for Battery Warranty Claim.
